Meetings are held on Thursdays (normally the last of the month)
at the Primary Room at the United Reformed Church Hall
Addiscombe Grove, off south end of Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon, CR0 5LP.
This is 3 minutes walk from East Croydon Railway Station, local bus routes
and Tramlink, with car parking available on site.
Meetings start at 19.15 and finish by 22.00 with a break for refreshments
at approximately 20.30. Library facilities are available during the break

‘Half a Century Ago’
John Cramp started taking colour slides in 1957, and will show us a selection
from the first few years of his collection, taken both in Britain and Europe,
now half a century has passed.

‘Memories of 2007’
John Scrace returns to bring us up to date, with a selection of slides drawn
from his photographic expeditions of 2007, both at home and abroad.

‘The Gloucestershire-Warwickshire Railway’
Mike Dickson comes to give us a presentation on one of England’s leading
preserved railways, which is perhaps not as well known as .it deserves.

Branch Photo Competition and Members’ Slides
Another chance to show what you’ve done. It will probably be possible
to project digital images – please speak to the secretary in advance
if you wish to do so, so the necessary equipment can be arranged.

‘A Personal Selection’
David Soggee brings a selection of slides from bygone days, including the
Isle of Man as it was in the early 1960s, and early days of preservation
on the Worth Valley

‘Southern Africa in 1977’
The Club’s photographic secretary, Brian Manktelow will to give us
a show on South Africa (and possibly its neighbours) before things all changed.

Croydon Rail Brains Inter-Society Quiz
Come and support (or be part of) the branch team. Hosted by the Croydon
group of the Mid-Hants RPS (Watercress line), at the West Croydon Baptist
Church at Spurgeon's Bridge, Whitehorse Road, West Croydon. (1945 start)

‘When I Were a Lad, part 2’
Ian Wright returns with another selection of slides from his younger days,
this time when the ‘Jelly Mould’ (the family Morris Minor) was
taken north of the River Thames.
