Our meetings are held on Thursdays (normally the last of the month),
and take place in the
Primary Room at the United Reformed Church Hall,
Addiscombe Grove, Croydon, CR0 5LP.

This is 3 minutes walk from East Croydon Railway Station, local bus routes and Tramlink,
with car parking available on site.

Meetings start at 19.30 and finish by 22.00
with a break for refreshments.
A collection is made to defray expenses (recommended donation 3)
Meetings are open to all with an interest in Railways: visitors are always welcome.

David Jackman recounts travels through Germany.

Thursday 22nd February History of the RPSI: The First Fifty Years.
Leslie McAllister tells the story of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland, and how it has reached the limits of the 5' 3” gauge.

Thursday 22nd March Annual General Meeting & Members' Slides.
Your chance to speak out and show off! Both conventional and digital projectors will be available.

Transforming Victoria Underground Station
Kathryn Waghorn, Project Planning Manager, tells us what's been going on.

Thursday 31st May Scottish steam in the 1950s and 60s.
David Kelso presents black and white images of the good old days north of the border.

Thursday 28th June Railways before 1840
Stuart Dennison returns, to tell the story of the earliest years of railways, as they developed from horse drawn colliery tramways to steam powered trunk lines.


We also plan to participate in the next Croydon Railbrains inter Society quiz.
